Harold R. Fisher, 85, of Magnolia Drive, Lewisburg, formerly of Milton, passed away Sunday, April 16, 2017, at the Geisinger Medical Center, Danville.
He was born July 7, 1931, in Lewisburg, a son of the late Raymond L. and Alberta I. (Renn) Fisher. On March 24, 1973, he married the former Helen L. Bowersox who survives. Together they celebrated 44 years of marriage.
Harold was a 1949 graduate of Lewisburg High School.
He previously worked for PPL. Harold retired in 1993 from the former Moore Business Forms, now R. R. Donnelley, Lewisburg.
Harold was a member of Trinity Evangelical Lutheran Church, Milton.
Surviving in addition to his wife are two daughters and sons-in-law, Denise and Thomas Arline, of Blairsville, Ga., and Leslie and David Greuel, of Bogart, Ga.; one son, Eric Fisher, of Florida; one brother and sister-in-law, Charles and Donna Fisher, of Lewisburg; two sisters, Doris Lukens, of Mifflinburg and Betty Hummel, of Middleburg; a brother-in-law, Derwin Krouse, of Montandon; and numerous grandchildren and great-grandchildren.
In addition to his parents, he was predeceased by two sisters, Ida Mae Krouse and Lucille A. Spotts; and two brothers-in-law, Robert Lukens and Lester Hummel.
Friends will be received from 10 to 11 a.m. Saturday at Trinity Evangelical Lutheran Church, 100 Mahoning St., Milton, followed by the funeral at 11, with Pastor Peter Geschwindner, chaplain of RiverWoods, officiating.
Burial will follow in the Lewisburg Cemetery.
The family will provide the flowers and suggests memorial contributions in Hrold's memory be made to Trinity Evangelical Lutheran Church, 100 Mahoning St., Milton, PA 17847, or to a charity of one's choice.
