Guy E. Wagner, 93, of Lewisburg, passed away on Monday, Feb. 19, 2018, at the Evangelical Community Hospital, Lewisburg.
He was born May 28, 1924, in Lewisburg, a son of the late James and Mary Mildred (Rohland) Wagner. He was married to the former Rosemarie Kordmeier for 48 years until her death in 1994.
Guy was a 1942 graduate of Lewisburg High School and had served in the Army during World War II.
He had worked for Philco Ford, Zenith, and Masonite.
He was a member of Sacred Heart Catholic Church, Lewisburg, and a member of the Knights of Columbus. He was a former member of the Lewisburg American Legion and the Montandon VFW.
Guy is survived by one daughter and son-in-law, Elizabeth and James Ritter of Lewisburg; three grandchildren, Matthew Ritter and his wife Stacy, Mark Ritter, and Mallory Crowley and her husband Michael; three great-grandchildren, Tabitha Zimmerman, Leah Zimmerman, and Lydia Ritter; and one sister, Mary Printzenhoff of Mifflinburg.
He was preceded in death by one brother, David Wagner; and one sister, Betty Jane Wagner.
Friends and relatives will be received for a Rosary service at 11:45 a.m. Friday, with visitation from noon to 1 p.m., followed by the funeral at 1, at the John H. Shaw III Funeral Home, 801 Market St., Lewisburg, with the Rev. Mark Wilke officiating.
Burial with military honors will follow in Lewisburg Cemetery.
