Gretchen E. (Koble) Henry, 48, of Lewisburg, passed away Wednesday, April 5, 2017 at her home surrounded by family after a courageous battle with cancer.
She was born Feb. 11, 1969, in Sunbury, a daughter of William and Barbara (Hubler) Koble, of Northumberland. She married Matthew Henry and would have celebrated 11 years of marriage this October.
Gretchen was a 1988 graduate of Shikellamy High School.
She enjoyed music, sailing, walking, and drawing artwork. She was a nature lover and truly enjoyed the outdoors. Gretchen was always a very positive person with an open heart and a love for everyone.
In addition to her parents and husband, Gretchen is survived by her son, Zachary P. Dorman and his wife Katie, of Cambridge, Vt.; two daughters, Sadie E. Dorman, of Selinsgrove, and Ava B. Henry, at home; two brothers, Dwayne Koble and his wife Roseanne, of Riverside, and Matthew Koble and his wife Cassie, of Glen Burnie, Md.; two sisters, Lori Walter, of Gulfport, Miss., and Caroline and her husband Eric Field, of Flowermound, Texas; and numerous nieces and nephews.
A memorial service will be held at 1 p.m. Saturday at Brooks Funeral Home, 124 Main St., Watsontown.
