Grace A. Moore Womer, 83, of Mifflinburg, passed away at 3:30 p.m. Tuesday, March 6, 2018, at the Manor at Penn Village, Selinsgrove.
She was born March 3, 1935, in Lewistown, a daughter of the late Jonas R. and Elizabeth V. (Summers) Yoder. She was married Blaine G. Moore who preceded her in death in 1992. In 2014, she married William K. Womer who preceded her in death on Feb. 19, 2018.
Grace was a graduate Messiah College, Grantham.
She had taught at various Christian schools and was also a certified nursing assistant.
She was a member of Mountain Road God's Missionary Church, Penns Creek.
Grace enjoyed gardening, and was a collector of stamps and coins.
She is survived by one daughter and son-in-law, Wanita and Clayton Mowery of Mifflinburg; two stepdaughters and sons-in-law, Sharon and Daniel Shields of Northumberland, and Roxann and Douglas Summers of Milroy; three stepsons and their spouses, Gerald and Dora Moore of Middleburg, Marlin and Beverly Moore of Indiana, Anthony Womer of Mount Pleasant Mills; three grandchildren, Emily, Clayton and Bryan Mowery; 12 stepgrandchildren; and numerous stepgreat-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by three brothers, Newton, Leon, and John Yoder; four sisters, Mabel King, Dorothy Glick, Edith Byler, and Lois Yoder; two stepsons, Clair and Thomas Moore; and one stepgranddaughter.
Friends and family will be received from 6 to 8 p.m. Friday at the Mountain Road God's Missionary Church, where the funeral will be conducted at 11 a.m. Saturday with the Rev. Brent Lenhart officiating.
Burial will be in the Delaware Mennonite Church Cemetery, Thompsontown.
Arrangements are by the Hummel Funeral Home, 574 Hill St., Middleburg.
