Glenn A. Quintana Sr.

July 01, 1932 - November 29, 2017

Glenn A. Quintana, Sr., of Penns Creek, formerly of South Bethlehem, N.Y., passed away on Wednesday, Nov. 29, 2017, at his home.
He was the husband of MaryLu Twining Quintana. On Aug. 16, they celebrated their 65th wedding anniversary.
He was born July 1, 1932, in Coeymans, N.Y., a son of the late Manuel and Alice (Carkner) Quintana.

Glenn was the President of Meginniss Electric in Albany, N.Y. and he finished his career at Troy Light Company. He retired in 2003. After retiring, he moved to Penn View Bible Institute campus where he volunteered his services in the maintenance department.
He was a member of the Schenectady Pilgrim Holiness Church where he served as a Sunday school teacher and served as church treasurer for 24 years. He was an active member in Gideons International. While living in Pennsylvania he attended the Beavertown God's Missionary Church.

In addition to his wife, he is survived by two sons, Glenn A. Quintana Jr., and wife, Charlene, of Duanesburg, N.Y., and Geffrey B. Quintana, of Denver, Colo.; two daughters, Karen L. Smith and husband, Dan, of Columbus, Ohio, and Valerie L. Hallenbeck and husband, Don, of Penns Creek; one sister, Madelyn A. Twining, of Tecumseh, Mich.; nine grandchildren; and 12 great-grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by one daughter, Donna L. Peak, wife of Paul Peak, of Roanoke, Va.; and two brothers, Manuel J Quintana, of Tucson, Ariz., and Nathan J. Quintana, of Schenectady, N.Y.

A viewing will be held from 6 to 8 p.m. Friday, Dec. 8, and from noon to 1 p.m. Saturday, Dec. 9, followed by the funeral at 1, at Beavertown God's Missionary Church, 1693 Creek Road, Beavertown.
Interment will follow in Beavertown Cemetery.
