Glenda D. Rine, 79, of Selinsgrove, passed away on Friday morning, Nov. 24, 2017, at Evangelical Community Hospital, Lewisburg.
She was born April 29, 1938, in Newport, a daughter of the late Clyde and Lila (Reichenbach) Frymoyer.
Glenda was a 1957 graduate of Selinsgrove High School.
She had been employed at the Custard Cup restaurant, the Dutch Pantry, and was part owner of Rine's Flower Shop, all of the Selinsgrove area, and retired from Acme Markets where she was a supervisor in the deli department.
She was a former member of the Susquehanna Valley Country Club, Selinsgrove, and the Lost Lake Golf Club, Hobe Sound, Fla.
Glenda enjoyed spending her winters in Florida and traveling in the United States and internationally. She was an avid golfer and enjoyed bingo. Her greatest joy was her great-grandson, Cole.
She is survived by one son and daughter-in-aw, Greg L. and Dianna Rine, of Freeburg; one daughter and son-in-law, Gaylene R. and James Showers, of Paxinos; three grandchildren, Shilo Shaffer, Ashley and Caitlin Rine; one great-grandson, Cole Shaffer; one sister, Ardenna Kauffman, of Duncannon; three brothers and one sister-in-law, Kirby Frymoyer, of California, George and Judy Frymoyer, of Mount Pleasant Mills, and Kenneth Frymoyer, of Kreamer; and Sheryl and Dave Stover, of Selinsgrove, her long time companions daughter and son-in-law.
She was preceded in death by her long time companion, Richard Swope.
A visitation will be held from 10 to 11 a.m. Wednesday at the V.L. Seebold Funeral Home, 601 N. High St., Selinsgrove, followed by the funeral at 11, with the Rev. Michael S. Swimley officiating.
Burial will be in Paradise Cemetery, Port Trevorton.
