Gerald "Jerry" Miller, 70, of Sunbury, passed away on Wednesday, May 24, 2017, at the Sunbury Community Hospital with his wife and family by his side.
He was born May 11, 1947, in Berwick, a son of the late Benjamin and Viola (Ridall) Miller. He was married to the former Charlotte Henning who survives.

Jerry was employed for 21 years caning chairs and working looms at the Lower Susquehanna Blind Association in Sunbury.
He was a kind, caring, funny man who loved being around people. He would instantly strike up a conversation with anyone he met.

In addition to his wife, he is survived by his brother and sister-in-law, Ben and Ruth Ann, of Nescopek and their children, Tammy, Cathy and Terri; one brother-in-law, John Karge; many nieces and nephews; and his fur baby, Cuddles May Miller, his beloved cat.
He was preceded in death by one brother, Edwin Ridall; one sister, Nettie Hontz; father-in-law, Donald Karge; mother-in-law, Althea Henning; brother-in-law, Donnie Karge; and his many beloved fur babies.

It was Jerry's wish to have no funeral service.

In lieu of flowers, friends are asked to send donations to the Jerre Wirt Blank Funeral Home, 395 State St., Sunbury, PA 17801, to help defray costs.
