Freeman C. Willier, 81, of Millersburg, passed away on Monday, May 21, 2018, at his residence.
He was born in Lykens Township, a son of the late Clayton and Mabel (Schreffler) Willier. He was married to the former Doris Hepner who survives.
Freeman was a graduate of the former Elizabethville High School and served in the Army stationed in Germany. He retired from Kinney Shoe Corp. working in Palmyra and Millersburg.
He was a member, council member and former treasurer for 40 years at St. Luke's UCC in Malta, a member of Millersburg Gun & Conservation Club, the American Legion Post 326, Erdman Sportsmen Club, the NRA, and Millersburg Senior Center.
Freeman enjoyed hunting and fishing with his son and going to camp and four wheeling with his grandchildren.
In addition to his wife, he is survived by one son, Brian; grandchildren, Bo and Hayley; great-grandson, Boone; stepgreat-grandson, Aaron; and sister, Cordelia Fenstermacher.
He was preceded in death by siblings, Dale, Orlando, and Lillie.
A viewing will be held from 7 to 9 p.m. Thursday, and from 10 to 11 a.m. Friday, followed by the funeral at 11, at St. Luke's UCC, Malta.
Burial with military honors will be in Riverview Memorial Gardens, Halifax.
