Frances E. Tisot


Frances E. Tisot, 93, of Selinsgrove, passed away peacefully on Wednesday, July 24, 2019, at Nottingham Village, Northumberland.

She was born March 6, 1926, in Lewisburg, a daughter of the late Clyde and Lottie (Lose) Wagner. On Oct. 16, 1971, she married David L. Tisot who preceded her in death.

Frances was a member of Christ Community United Methodist Church, Selinsgrove.
She enjoyed traveling with her husband and spending time with her family and friends. Frances was known for always having a smile on her face.

She is survived by one daughter and son-in-law, Theresa A. and Larry Koch of Selinsgrove; three grandchildren and their spouses, Stacie and Mike Gillespie, Jamie and Chris Kerstetter, and Rohn Koch; and three great-grandchildren, Erin and Mallory Gillespie and Grayson Kerstetter.
She was preceded in death by six brothers, Cleveland, Gilbert, Theodore "Red", Glen, Thornton "Dean", and Clyde Jr. Wagner; and one sister, Madaline Steed.

There will be no viewing. A visitation will be held from 10 to 11 a.m. Friday, Aug. 2, at Christ Community United Methodist Church, 3939 Park Road, Selinsgrove, followed by the funeral at 11, with the Rev. Curt Brown officiating.
Burial will be in Shreiner's Cemetery, Selinsgrove.

In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to Christ Community United Methodist Church, Capital Campaign, 3939 Park Road, Selinsgrove, PA 17870.

Arrangements are by the V.L. Seebold Funeral Home, 601 N. High St., Selinsgrove.
