Fay A. (Hans) Higgins, 63, of Susquehanna Trail, Watsontown, passed away Wednesday, September 13, 2017, at the Williamsport Hospital.
She was born March 17, 1954, in Muncy, a daughter of the late Clifton and Evelyn (Middlesworth) Hans. On December 10, 1977, she married Dale W. Higgins and they have celebrated 39 years of marriage.
Fay was a 1972 graduate of Warrior Run High School and a homemaker.
She was a lifetime member of Delaware Run Wesleyan Church, rural Watsontown where she served as nursery co-ordinator for 10 years and had over 25 years of service in their women's ministries.
Fay was an avid flower gardener and loved antiquing and attending yard sales.
In addition to her husband, she is survived by one son, Curtis Higgins at home; two daughters and sons-in-law, Leslie R. Cromley and Aaron Scott, of Watsontown, and Jamie C. and Robert Spencer, of Muncy; three grandchildren, Sadie Breanne Cromley, Kya Marie Manley, and Kaylee Elizabeth Spencer; four brothers, Donald Hans, Milton, James Hans, Turbotville, Keith Hans, Hughesville, and Clifton Hans Jr., Watsontown; two sisters, Darlene Grove, Freeburg and Genevieve Walburn, Turbotville; and numerous nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by one sister, Diane Hans in infancy; one brother-in-law, Bill Grove; and one sister-in-law, Joanne Hans.
Friends and family are invited to attend a memorial service to honor Fay's life at 11 a.m. Saturday at Delaware Run Wesleyan Church, 55700 Musser Lane, Watsontown, with the Rev. Michael C. Reese officiating.
Arrangements have been entrusted to Brooks Funeral Home & Cremation Svc PC, 207 Broadway St., Turbotville.
