Elizabeth A. "Liz" Mull, 63, of Northumberland, passed away Wednesday, Feb. 14, 2018, at the Geisinger Home Health & Hospice at Maria Hall, Danville.
She was born Jan. 24, 1955, in Sunbury, a daughter of Oscar H. Smith Jr. and Mary L. (Lauver) Smith, of Northumberland. On Nov. 8, 1975, she married James L. Mull who survives.
Liz was a 1972 graduate of Shikellamy High School.
She then gained employment with the Ranch Restaurant until starting her 44-year career with the Northumberland National Bank, retiring in October of 2017.
She was of the Presbyterian faith.
Liz enjoyed playing bingo especially with her best friend, her mother. She loved to travel, taking many cruises and visiting many casinos.
In addition to her parents and husband of 42 years, Liz is survived by one son and daughter-in-law, Shane Michael and Amanda J. Mull of Mifflinville; two brothers and sisters-in-law, Ralph H. and Kimberly J. Smith of Bellefonte, and Michael S. and Kelly L. Smith of Northumberland; brother-in-law, Donald Mull and sister-in-law, Faith Bacon, both of Sunbury; and her very special nieces and nephews and great-nieces and great-nephews who she cherished.
Liz's family would like to thank the staff of Maria Hall for the wonderful care given to her.
A celebration of Liz's life will be announced at a later date.
