Eleanor L. Phillips, 90, of Lewisburg, passed away on Dec. 21, 2017, at Buffalo Valley Lutheran Village, Lewisburg. She was born Feb. 5, 1927, in Turbotville, a daughter of the late Albert and Mildred (Koch) Ellsworth. She was the loving wife of the late Myron Danowsky, Harry Fink, and Ernest Phillips. She had happy marriages and all of her husbands treated her well.
Eleanor was a 1945 graduate of Watsontown High School where she studied home economics.
She worked for JPM in Lewisburg and then at the Evangelical Community Hospital hospitality shop.
Eleanor was a faithful member of United in Christ Lutheran Church, Lewisburg since 1965.
She enjoyed housekeeping, traveling on bus trips, and sewing with her church group. She was a member of the Penn State Homemakers Club.
Eleanor is survived by one son and daughter-in-law, Scott and Jodie Danowsky, of Lewisburg; and two granddaughters, Amy and Emma Danowsky, both of Lewisburg.
Friends and relatives will be received from 6 to 8 p.m. Tuesday at the Shaw Funeral Home, 400 N. Front St. Milton.
Graveside services will be held privately.
