Edward F. "Ed" Sulouff, 72, of Christmas Road, Sunbury, passed away on Saturday, Feb. 25, 2017, at Nottingham Village, Northumberland.
He was born Oct. 16, 1944, in Northumberland, a son of the late Melvin F. and Esther J. (Moyer) Sulouff.
Ed was a 1962 graduate of Northumberland High School.
His employment included Paulsen Wire Rope and he spent many years as a baker for Weis Markets until his retirement. Following retirement, Ed stayed busy helping his neighbors on the Shaffer Farm.
Earlier in life Ed enjoyed hunting. He loved to tinker in his garage. He was a handyman and a woodworker who could fix just about anything.
He is survived by two sons and one daughter-in-law, Craig E. Sulouff, of Sunbury, and Christopher E. and Carol Sulouff, of Havertown; one daughter and son-in-law, Holly M. and Rocky J. Roshon, of Northumberland; three grandchildren, Matthew and Jessica Sulouff, and Chloe Roshon; one brother and sister-in-law, Timothy and Kathleen Sulouff, of Northumberland; two sisters and one brother-in-law, Patricia and Daniel Van Kirk and Linda Kusin, all of Northumberland; and his many aunts, uncles, cousins, nieces and nephews.
He was preceded in death by one brother, Gary Sulouff.
Friends and family may call from 6 to 8 p.m. Wednesday, and from 10 to 11 a.m. Thursday, followed by the funeral at 11, at Trinity Lutheran Church, 1092 Ridge Road, Northumberland with the Rev. D. Elinor Allison officiating.
Burial will follow in Riverview Cemetery, Northumberland.
