Ed was employed for 42 years at the Sunbury Textile Mill, currently known as Glen Raven.

He is survived by his wife, Elaine C. (Kline) Reitz; one daughter and her fiancé, Elyssa Reitz and Blair Snyder of Middleburg; four brothers and three sisters-in-law, Bob and Terri Reitz, of Sunbury, Daniel and Dianna Reitz, of Sunbury, Jeffrey and Molly Reitz, of Selinsgrove, and Michael Reitz; four sisters and brothers-in-law, Tammy and Jason Roush of Middleburg, Judy and Paul Elsasser of Mount Pleasant Mills, Ginger and Steve Gelnett of North Carolina, and Margaret "Peg" Lenig; sister-in-law, Dorothy Weikel of Winfield; brother-in-law and sister-in-law, David and Wanda Kline of Winfield; many nieces, nephews, great-nieces and nephews that he enjoyed going fishing and camping with; and lifelong friends, John and Donna Rothermel and Gary and Kathy Kerstetter.
He was preceded in death by one sister, Vicki Reitz whom was married to Dale Reitz of Sunbury.

Friends and family will be received from 6 to 8 p.m. Monday, Feb. 11, at the V.L. Seebold Funeral Home, 601 N. High St., Selinsgrove, followed by the funeral at 11 a.m. Tuesday, Feb. 12, at St. John's "Dry Valley" Church, Winfield, with the Rev. Kenneth J. Steckel officiating.
Burial will be in Guier "Dry Valley" Cemetery, Winfield.

I will miss Uncle Ed’s sense of humor and how he always seemed happy to be with friends and family. Memories of Ed babysitting when I was little , he taught me to eat spaghetti O’s out of a can because he wasn’t allowed to use the stove. Good times! He also had great hayrides and was partly responsible for myself and my wife meeting at one of his hayrides. He will be missed but never forgotten.
