We came to know him at Lock Haven Airport around 2 years ago. In such a short time frame we were touched by his passion, knowledge and dedication towards Aviation and education was like a life line. He is a very holy and extraordinary soul. May lord keep him in his service we will miss him always. May lord give strength to his Family & Friends to bare his emptyness which can never be filled.

As a pilot myself, I have had the privilege of knowing Doug through several interactions with flying. He checked me out to fly his plane, I was in the process of arranging more training with him. I often recommended people interested in learning to fly to his flight school. I admired his ability as a flight instructor! I was honored to be considered his friend. I will greatly miss him, the world is not the same without him in it.

Sorry for your loss. Doug was a childhood friend, who lived just down the road from me when we were boys. I never knew or talked to him in adulthood, but he was a good friend, and that is how I'll remember him. Sincerest of condolences. RIP

Prayers for Amanda and Brady, and family. Doug will always hold a special place in my heart, A sort of wild child, he and Tim would get into some of the darnedest predicaments, and still come out smelling like a rose, well, ya know what I mean. Grew up to be a good man! Rest In Peace Doug.
