Diane H. DeFlavio, 72, of 121 S. Ellison Lane, Camden, Del., formerly of Selinsgrove, Pa., beloved wife, mother, sister, and grandmother entered into the loving embrace of the Lord on Thursday morning, April 13, 2017.
She was born July 18, 1944, in Sunbury, Pa., a daughter of William and Helen (Sobol) Mackrella.

Diane was a 1962 graduate of Sunbury High School. She attended Wanamaker Business School for two years where she went on to manage a department for Wanamaker's. She spent most of her career as an office manager in the medical field, had an antique business, and shared an appliance business with her husband. She also assisted in Human Resources at Susquehanna University, Selinsgrove, before retiring.
Her greatest source of joy and strength were her family and the Catholic faith. She loved the beach, birds, flowers, gardening, and being with her family and cooking for everyone she knew.

She is survived by the love of her life, John N. DeFlavio; her daughter and son-in-law, Stephanie and Todd James, of Selinsgrove; her son and daughter-in-law, Roger and Sharyn Lauver, of West Deptford, N.J.; two grandsons, Joseph Lauver, of Shamokin Dam, Pa., and Adam James of West Deptford; two granddaughters, Jessamy and husband Bradley Rebuck, of Catawissa, Pa., and Whitni Lauver, of Shamokin, Pa.; two great-grandchildren, Levi and Hazel Rebuck; four sisters and brothers-in-law, Shirley and Dr. Richard Cahn, of Allentown, Pa.; Nancy and Neil Rodino, of Northumberland, Pa.; Candice and George Hottenstein, of Shamokin Dam, Pa.; and Lori and William Harding, of Bloomsburg, Pa.; nieces and nephews, Jack Cahn, of New York, N.Y.; the late Christine Bechtel, of Lewisburg, Pa.; Hilary Peterson, of Dallas, Pa.; George Hottenstein, of Selinsgrove; Amanda Kissinger, of Bloomsburg, Pa.; and great-nieces and nephews, cousins, and many, many friends.

She wrote in all of our cards, "May you always walk with angels" and now she is the angel.

Friends and family are welcome to a celebration of Diane's life at a Mass at St. Monica Church, 109 Market St., Sunbury, Pa., from 10 a.m. to noon Saturday, April 29.
