Dennis W. Erdman, 77, of Lewisburg, formerly of Herndon, passed away Tuesday, September 5, 2017, at the Williamsport Hospital.
He was born November 30, 1939, in Dornsife, a son of the late Homer and Mary C. (Williams) Erdman. He was married for 36 years to the former Martha J. Moyer who survives.
Dennis graduated in 1957 from Trevorton High School. He served in the National Guard.
He retired as a supervisor from MI Plastics, Millersburg, and was a dealer at Roller Mills Antiques, Lewisburg.
He was a member of Herndon Lodge 702 Free and Accepted Masons, Tall Cedars, Millersburg, and Union County Sportsman Club.
In addition to his wife, he is survived by four children, Rodney Erdman and Karen, of Shamokin, Trudy Lagerman and Carl Dixson, of Trevorton, Tracy Myers and Jeff, of Pillow, and Troy Miller, of Elizabethville; seven grandchildren, Shane Erdman, Sierra Erdman, Jared Erdman, Braxton Lagerman, Brock Lagerman, Matthew Sitlinger, and Natasha Sitlinger; five great-grandchildren, Kora Heim, Kaide Heim, Kennedy Sitlinger, Jase Erdman, Braylon Lagerman; one sister, Yvonne Lenig; one brother, Jack Erdman and Dorothy; and sister-in-law, Jean Erdman.
He was preceded in death by one brother, Ernie Erdman.
At Dennis's request, there will be no calling hours or services.
The Robert G. Foust Jr. Funeral Home, 841 W. Shamokin St., Trevorton, is assisting the family with the arrangements.
