Deborah Mae (Godley) Clinton, 66, of Sunbury, passed away on Tuesday, Aug. 20, 2019, at the Geisinger Medical Center, Danville.
She was born Oct. 14, 1952, in Sunbury, a daughter of the late Earl and Doris (Bradigan) Godley. She married the late Charles E Clinton on October 10, 1970. She was blessed to find love again and married Timothy Burns on June 15, 2013.

Deborahwas a 1970 graduate of Shikellamy High School.
She retired as an aide from the Danville State Hospital.
Deborah was a loving wife, mother, grandmother and great-grandmother who enjoyed preparing meals for her family and friends most especially over the holidays. Nothing brought more joy to her heart than having all her family together. She always sacrificed her needs for the good of her family.

In addition to her husband, she is survived by her children, Lori J. (Clinton) Reitenbach and her husband Mark, Paula M. Clinton, and Zackary Burns; two grandchildren, Charles and Kaytlyn Reitenbach; one great-grandchild, Jace Reitenbach; one brother and sister-in-law, James and Sheryl (Heckard) Godley; and several nieces and nephews.

She was preceded in death by one brother, Prentice E. Godley; one sister, Carolyn K. (Godley) Stewart; and one niece, Tammy L. Stewart.

Deborah's beautiful smile and loving soul will be missed by many, per her wishes, the service will be private.

In lieu of flowers, donations in Deborah's memory can be sent to The National Kidney Foundation.

Tim I am so sorry for your loss. Unfortunately I never had the pleasure of meeting Deborah, but she sounds like she was an amazing woman. My heart breaks for you and your family. Sending prayers for healing to all of you.
