David A. Noblit, 54, of Pottsville Street, Herndon, passed away unexpectedly on Saturday, Jan. 27, 2018, at his residence.
He was born in Harrisburg, a son of the late Edward Sr. and Shirley (Leach) Noblit.
David was retired from the Pennsylvania National Guard and was also a truck driver.
He was a member of American Legion Post 44, Herndon Fire Company, and the American Legion Riders Post 947.
Surviving are his wife Dana Riegel Noblit; one son and daughter-in-law, David Jr. and Amanda, of Elysburg; two grandsons, Cayden and Blake; two brothers and one sister-in-law, Jeffrey, of Halifax and Steven and Jackie, of Dornsife; two sisters and one brother-in-law, Rebecca Noblit, of Sunbury and Susan and Dave Long, of Millersburg; two nephews; four nieces; and two great-nieces.
The family will receive friends from 11 a.m. to noon Friday at the Hoover-Boyer Funeral Home, Millersburg, followed by a memorial service at noon.
