David Burton "Burt" Davis, 83, of Selinsgrove, formerly of Medina, Ohio, died Wednesday, Feb. 28, 2018, at his home.
He was born Dec. 8, 1934, in Fairplay, Md., a son of the late Harry and Mary (Miller) Davis. On Dec. 22, 1952, he married the former Lois Lillian Kendall and together they celebrated 55 years of marriage before her death on July 1, 2008.
Burt graduated high school in Hagerstown, Md. He retired in 2000 from the Pangburn Corporation, Hagerstown, where he worked as a sales service engineer.
He was a member of Church of the Good Shepherd, Montoursville.
Burt was a devoted father and grandfather and enjoyed spending time with family and friends.
Surviving are two sons and daughters-in-law, Kyle and Wendy Davis of Selinsgrove, and J. Tadd and Nyoka Davis of Lodi, Ohio; one daughter, Tina Baker of Martinsburg, W.Va.; one brother and sister-in-law, James "Mac" and Mary Jane Davis of West Virginia; eight grandchildren, Keri (Luke) Honigman, Rachael (Justin) Stephano, Jessica, Alayna, Clayton, Quinton and Grahm Davis, and David Hussman; and one great-granddaughter, Isabelle Honigman.
In addition to his parents and wife, he was predeceased by four brothers and two sisters.
Friends will be received from 2 to 3 p.m. Saturday at Cronrath-Grenoble Funeral Home, South Second and St. Louis streets, Lewisburg, followed by a memorial service at 3.
