David Nelson "Dave" Colley, 56, of Cogan Station, peacefully passed at home on Tuesday, Nov. 14, 2017, surrounded by his family.
He is survived by his loving wife, Donna M. (Bailey) Colley.
Dave was the son of Robert Sr. and Nancy Colley, of Montoursville and the late Carol (Hill) and Bob Green.
He was a loyal and longtime employee of St. Croix Rods.
Dave was a member of the Texas Blockhouse Fish & Game Club, was an avid fisherman and enjoyed photography. He was a devoted friend to many, but loved his friends like family. Our lives will never be the same, but in our hearts, we will carry on his legacy.
Dave's legacy is continued by his beloved children, four sons, Geoffrey I. Scheller, of Duboistown, David L. Scheller (Whitney), of South Williamsport, James R. Colley (Lori), of Smyrna, Ga., and Sean P. Colley, of Wilkes-Barre; one daughter, Kathryn M. Joseph (Anderson), of Williamsport; precious grandchildren, Dylan, Nadia, Cohen, John River and Rilynn; caring brothers, Robert Colley, Jr. (Mary Rose), of Williamsport and Walter Colley (Kim), of Rochester, N.Y .
A celebration of Dave's life will be held from 1 to 3 p.m. Saturday at Cloud 9 Airport Restaurant, 700 Airport Road, Montoursville.
