Dalton E. Ewing


Dalton E. Ewing, 82, of Stage Road, McClure, passed away on May 16, 2019, at William Penn Nursing Home in Lewistown.
He was born March 17, 1937, in Crossgrove, a son of the late Charles F. and Ada M. (Pheasant) Ewing.

Dalton was a 1955 graduate of McClure High School.
He was an Army veteran and retired from Lozier Corp. in 1999.
He was a member of St. John's Ridge Lutheran Church, McClure.

Surviving are two sisters and two brothers, Evelyn R. Smeltzer of Lewistown, Margaret R. Moser of McClure, C. Richard Ewing of Bethlehem, and Jerry L. Ewing of McClure; and numerous nieces and nephews.
In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by one sister, Gayle E. Conner.

Graveside services will be private at the convenience of the family in the Black Oak Ridge Cemetery in McClure.

Arrangements are by the Pheasant Funeral Home, 130 S. Zechman St., Beavertown.
