Craig's Story

Craig A. Eichenlaub, 53, of Clover Lane, Danville, passed away Wednesday, July 6, 2016, while on a truck run in Decatur, Ga.

He was born Oct. 7, 1962, in Williamsport, a son of Edith J. (Holmes) Eichenlaub and the late Carl A. Eichenlaub Sr. who died Nov. 30, 2013. On May 6, 1988, he married the former Brenda L. Fisk and they have celebrated 28 years of marriage.

Craig graduated from Warrior Run High School in 1980 and was a truck driver. He was currently working for R.K. Stoner Logistics in Peach Bottom.

He loved his family, watching the wildlife, being outdoors, telling jokes, and lending a hand to his neighbors.

In addition to his wife and mother, he is survived by two daughters, Cristy L. Uhl, of Red Lion and Lynnette A. Eichenlaub, of Morgantown, W.Va.; one son, Clayton A. (Briana) King, of Watsontown; two grandchildren, Emma and Willow Uhl; two brothers, Carl A., Jr. (Linda) of Watsontown and Cris A. (Sherry), of Eagle River, Alaska; a sister, Cathy A. (David) Rudy, of Selinsgrove; and three special friends at home, Duke, Bella, and Charley.

The family will receive friends from 10 to 11 a.m. Thursday at Friendship Baptist Church, 10 Voris Lane, Watsontown where the funeral service will be conducted at 11 with Pastor Jason King officiating.

Burial will follow in Watsontown Cemetery.
