Clarence E. Rebuck


Clarence E. Rebuck, 83, of Herndon, passed away Monday, Oct. 8, 2018, at the home of his special friends and caregivers, Harry and Patricia Rebuck of Herndon.
He was born Oct. 31, 1934, in Jordan Township, a son of the late Edward and Bertha (Lahr) Rebuck.

Clarence was a resident of the Herndon area for the past 50 years. He was the companion of Helen E. Bohner since Jan. 10, 1964 who preceded him in death on Aug. 25, 2017.

He attended the Urban School.
He worked in farming and butchering for many years.
Clarence was of the Protestant faith. He was the Cemetery Sexton of St. Paul's U.C.C. Cemetery, Urban for many years. He was a member of Herndon Fire Company for more than 30 years.

He is survived by one brother, Guy Rebuck of Millersburg; two sisters, Goldie Knorr of Herndon and Phyllis Erdman of Perkasie; and his loyal and best friend and companion of seven years, his dog Ranger who remained by his bedside till death.

He was preceded in death by his companion Helen of 52 years; and one brother, Earl Rebuck.

Relatives and friends are invited to a graveside service at 11 a.m. Monday in St. Paul's U.C.C. Cemetery, Urban, with the Rev. John Miller officiating.

In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made in Clarence's memory to Hospice of Evangelical, 235 Hospital Drive, Lewisburg, PA 17837.
