Charles E. Simmons, 85, of Milton, passed away Friday, Sept. 22, 2017, at Watsontown Nursing and Rehabilitation Center.
He was born May 17, 1932, in Watsontown, a son of the late Rev. Norman J. and Marguerite (Watson) Simmons.
Charles worked as a bio medical engineer at Evangelical Hospital, Lewisburg, where he was responsible for maintenance of electronic medical equipment.
He formerly attended Watsontown United Methodist Church, where his father was the former pastor many years ago.
Surviving are one son and daughter-in-law, David W. and MaryEllen Simmons, of South Lyon, Mich.; three grandchildren, Amy Simmons, Adam Simmons and Ashley Brusca; five great-grandchildren, Madelyn Sabot, Vincent Brusca, Milo Simmons, Rowan Simmons and Victoria Brusca; and his lifelong friend, Susan Hoffman, of Milton.
Friends will be received from 10:30 to 11 a.m. Wednesday at Cronrath-Grenoble Funeral Home, 308 Main St., Watsontown, followed by a memorial service at 11.
Burial will be held privately in Watsontown Cemetery.
