Carl L. Narber Sr., 86, of Cape Coral, Fla., passed away at 8 a.m. Saturday, Nov. 4, 2017, at the Hope Hospice House.
Carl was born Oct. 5, 1931, in Muncy, Pa.
He served in the U.S. Army, fought in the Korean War.
He was a welder by trade and spent the better part of his adult life living in East Haven, Conn., where he continued his welding career and was a volunteer police officer.
He is survived by his wife Shirley of 53 years; daughter, Carla; and three sons and wives, Carl and Mary, John and Ann Marie, Bill and Lynn. Carl also had a fourth son Charles who passed away at 21. He also had many grandchildren and great-grandchildren, Heather, Lindsey, Carl III, McKenzy, Addison, Ella, Trey, Connor, McKenzie, Amanda, Ryan, Teddy, Sheila, Michael and Lily.
