Brenda K. (Weigold) Grace, 60, of Grace's Way, Watsontown, passed away on Sunday, March 19, 2017, at her home surrounded by family after a courageous battle with cancer.
She was born May 13, 1956, in Danville, a daughter of the late William H. and Beverly A. (Stahlnecker) Weigold. On Sept. 3, 1983, she married Stephen W. Grace and together they celebrated 33 years of marriage.
Brenda was a 1974 graduate of Warrior Run High School and a graduate of the former Williamsport Area Community College with an associate's degree in business.
Brenda was employed by Liberty Mutual of Williamsport for 32 years, and Pfeiffer-Naginey Insurance Co., Northumberland, for 11 years.
She was a member of St. John's Lutheran Church, Watsontown since birth. She was an active member and taught Sunday school for many years. She assisted with the Turbotville Boy Scouts Troop 622 for many years.
Brenda enjoyed scrapbooking, needle point, traveling to the Outer Banks, but most of all, Brenda adored her grandchildren.
In addition to her husband, she is survived by two sons and one daughter-in-law, William S. and Randi Grace, of Boiling Springs, and John W. Grace, of Stockbridge, Ga.; four grandchildren, Logan, Alexandria, Karli, and Kinslei Grace; one brother and sister-in-law, William and Ann Weigold, of Charlottesville, Va.; one sister and brother-in-law, Bonnie and Scott Wheeland, of Cogan Station; and nieces, Lisa, Gina, and Megan, who will remember her fondly as "Fun Aunt Brenda"
Friends are invited to call from 6 to 8 p.m. Friday at Brooks Funeral Home, 207 Broadway St., Turbotville, and from 11 a.m. to noon Saturday at St. John's Lutheran Church, 6590 Musser Lane, Watsontown, followed by the funeral at noon, with her pastor, the Rev. Faron Johnson, officiating.
Burial will follow in Delaware Run Cemetery, Watsontown.
