Beverly A. Scheffler, 64, of 132 Wheaton Place, Harrisburg, formerly of Millmont, entered into rest at 6:30 a.m. Saturday, July 29, 2017, at Pinnacle Health Community General Hospital, Harrisburg.
She was born Aug. 11, 1952, in Lewisburg, a daughter of Delight A. (Davis) Showalter, of Millmont, and the late Robert Showalter. On Sept. 7, 2007, in Middleburg, she married Jeffrey Scott Scheffler who survives.
Beverly was a 1971 graduate of Mifflinburg High School and earned her masters degree in communications at William Patterson College in 1995.
She was employed as an administrative secretary at the Pennsylvania Department of Transportation for 13 years, and later was an adjunct professor at William Patterson College.
She attended Grace Fellowship Church, Harrisburg.
Beverly enjoyed crafts, painting, and sewing.
In addition to her husband and mother, she is survived by one brother and sister-in-law, Forrest and Torey Showalter, of Millmont; two nieces, Kyla Varney and Corrine Zechman; and two nephews, Cain Showalter and Calvin Showalter.
Family and friends are invited to a time of visitation from 6 to 7 p.m. Friday at the Roupp Funeral Home Inc., 8594 Old Turnpike Road, Mifflinburg, followed by a celebration of life service at 7, with the Rev. John Yost officiating.
