Betty K. Masteller, 93, of Watsontown, passed away Thursday, Oct. 12, 2017 at Watsontown Health and Rehab Center.
Born Feb. 9, 1924, in White Deer, she was the daughter of the late Ralph and S. Alice Wilkins. She married Harry M. Masteller and celebrated 37 years of marriage until his passing in August 2006.
Betty was a 1942 graduate of Watsontown High School.
She worked at Philco Ford and Montgomery Mill's, and Betty owned her own beauty shop in Watsontown.
She was a member of Faith Chapel United Methodist Church and a life member of Watsontown American Legion Auxiliary.
Betty enjoyed word search, watching TV, and playing cards. She also loved her dog Bitsy.
She is survived by her daughter, Sherry L. and her husband Franklin Dyer, of Watsontown; grandson, Todd Reeser; three stepgrandchildren, Franklin Dyer Jr. and his wife Tammy, Ricky Dyer and his wife Lori, and Ron Dyer; and three special friends, Lori Day, Kim Cotner, and Kayla Cotner.
Friends and family are invited to call from 10:30 to 11:30 a.m. Tuesday, at Brooks Funeral Home, 124 Main St., Watsontown where the memorial service will be held at 11:30 a.m. with Pastor Michael Hill, of Elimsport United Methodist Church, officiating.
Burial will follow in Highland Cemetery.
