Barbara E. Shultz, 83, of Mahoning Street, Milton, passed away on July 18, 2017, at her home.
She was born July 18, 1934, in Sunbury, a daughter of the late Harold and Mary Elizabeth (Kilne) Sheasley. She was married to the late William Shultz Sr.
Barbara was a 1952 graduate of Lewisburg High School.
She was employed as a nurse's aide at RiverWoods in Lewisburg.
Barbara was a member of St. Peter's United Methodist Church, Milton where she taught Sunday school.
She enjoyed doing crafts and scrapbooking, being outdoors, flower gardening, and playing the organ. Barbara was a Girl Scout leader and a huge Penn State fan. She was an avid reader and loved spending time with her grandchildren.
She is survived by her children, Ralph Guffey Jr., of Columbia, Norman Guffey, of Arizona, Pamela Guffey, of Milton, Brenda Nixon, of Danville, Dianne O'Connor, of Milton, and Brian Guffey, of Mifflinburg; one sister, Dawne Reedy, of North Carolina; 20 grandchildren; and 32 great-grandchildren.
Friends and relatives will be received from 3 to 4 p.m. Friday at the Shaw Funeral Home, 400 N. Front St., Milton, followed by a memorial service at 4, with the Rev. John H. Shaw III officiating.
