Anna (Koveleskie) Klock, 99, of Northumberland, passed away Feb. 3, 2018, at Geisinger Medical Center, Danville.
She was born May 25, 1918, and her family and friends looked forward to celebrating her 100th birthday.
Her father, Joseph Charles Koveleskie, 1885-1972, emigrated from Bialystok, Poland and on Feb. 25, 1911, married her mother, Antonio Slodysko (Anna Sladitskie) in St. Stan's Church, Shamokin. They had eight girls, Eleanor, Mary Eleanor, Anna, Helen, Petronella, Florence and Joanne, and five boys, Joseph, Edward, Raymond, Charles and Robert.
Anna married Russell Thomas Klock of Paxinos in September 1939 and raised three children in Tharptown.
Anna is survived by her children, Ronald Klock, Louise Bohner and Darla Klock; five grandchildren, Russell, Kristina, Lisa, Adam and Heather; three great- grandchildren, Alisha, Addison and Shannon; and three great-great-grandchildren.
After Anna's husbands death on July 15, 1963, Anna continued working as a professional seamstress at Shroyer Dress Company, Shamokin. She then moved to Sunbury to work in property management. After retirement Anna moved to Northumberland.
A viewing will be held from 9 to 11 a.m. Friday at St. Monica's Church, Sunbury, followed by Mass at 11.
Graveside services will follow in Northumberland Memorial Park, Stonington.
