Andres F. Valencia, 24, of Starlight Drive, Middleburg, died as a result of injuries suffered in an automobile accident on Thursday, Nov. 16, 2017, on Brush Valley Road, Centre County.
He was born Oct. 21, 1993, in Lewisburg, a son of Fernando A. Valencia and Lonna S. (Keister) Valencia, of Winfield. On May 22, 2016, he married the former Felicia L. Bickhart who survives.
Andres was a 2012 graduate of Mifflinburg Area High School and had attended the University of Pittsburgh and Cecil College in Maryland. He was employed as an electrician with I. Ray Zimmerman Electric, of Turbotville, but his passion was dairy goat farming.
He was of the Baptist faith and was a member of the American Dairy Goat Association.
Andres enjoyed hunting and had a strong work ethic, always helping others. He will be remembered for the love and care he had for his family.
Surviving in addition to his wife and parents are one daughter, Catalina Mae Valencia and another child is expected; five siblings, Cindy Valencia, of New York, Michaela Valencia, of Winfield, Antonio Valencia, of Chicago, and Malik and Madison Valencia, of Winfield; and his maternal grandparents, Ira and Thelma Keister, of Winfield.
Visitation will be held from noon to 2 p.m. Tuesday at Grace Covenant Community Church, Middleburg, followed by the funeral at 2.
Burial will be in Evergreen Cemetery, Selinsgrove.
Contributions may be made to a GoFund me account that has been set up in Andres' name.
Arrangements are by the Hummel Funeral Home, 574 Hill St., Middleburg.
