Amos Stoltzfus, Jr., 75, of Fredericksburg, Ohio, passed away on Tuesday, May 16, 2017, at LifeCare Hospice in Wooster, Ohio.
He was born Sept. 28, 1941, in Maryland, a son of the late Amos and Sarah (Stoltzfus) Stoltzfus. and married Cora Hostetler On Nov. 12, 1964, he married the former Cora Hostetler who survives.
Amos attended the Mennonite Christian Assembly in Fredericksburg.
In addition to his wife, he is survived by four children and their spouses, Sadie and Dwight Dauberman and Lydia and John Klinepeter, all of Middleburg, Pa., Sarah and Marvin Shirk, of Fredericksburg, and Michael and Rachel Stoltzfus, of Port Trevporton, Pa.; 11 grandchildren; four great-grandchildren; three sisters, Susie Lee, Sarah Kurtz, and Mary Kurtz; and six brothers, Omer, Gideon, Levi, Jacob, Emanuel and Benjamin.
In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by an infant son, Steven; two grandsons, Keith and Joshua; an infant brother, Johnathan; a brother, Stephen; and a sister, Rebecca Byler.
Friends will be received from 6 to 8 p.m. Thursday at Mennonite Christian Assembly, 10664 Fryburg Road, Fredericksburg, where the funeral will be conducted at 10 a.m. Friday with Pastor Jeremy Miller officiating.
Burial will follow in the church cemetery.
