Adrienne's Story

Adrienne Rose "Aggie" (Mancini) Smith, 70, of Lewisburg, formerly of Williamsport, passed away surrounded by family on Tuesday, April 4, 2017, at Evangelical Community Hospital, Lewisburg.
She was born July 18, 1946, a daughter of the late Vito W. Mancini and Mary Darothy (Tironie) Mancini. On Nov. 11, 1967, she married David Eugene Smith.

Adrienne was a 1966 graduate of Williamsport High School. She attended beauty school and loved "doing hair".
Aggie was a dedicated, loving mother who spent much of her time raising her family while working as a cook, hair stylist, or at her own cleaning business.
She helped with the Meals on Wheels Program.
Adrienne was a natural caregiver to many. She loved flowers, gardening, and taking trips to Florida to see her parents. She showed her love to family and friends through her generosity, kindness, and cooking.

Adrienne is survived by her loving husband of nearly 50 years, David Eugene Smith; a brother, James Mancini, sisters Mary F. Mancini and Patrice A. Cole; sons, David A. Smith and Vito W. Smith; daughter, Valarie L. Haftarczuk; grandsons, Aaron Bartosic, Justino Smith, Joseph Smith and Wyatt Smith; granddaughter, Kayla Briscoe; great-grandsons, Adam Bartosic, Christopher Moore, Blayze Shaffer, and Caleb Briscoe; and many wonderful nieces and nephews.
She was predeceased by her son, Christopher M. Smith; and granddaughter, Heather M. Nolter who she held so close to her heart.

Friends and relatives will be received from 9:30 to 10:45 a.m. Saturday at the John H. Shaw III Funeral Home, Market and Eighth streets, Lewisburg. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at 11a.m. Saturday at Sacred Heart Church with the Rev. Monsignor William M. Richardson as celebrant.
Burial will follow in Lewisburg Cemetery.

The family asks that charitable donations in Adrienne's memory be made to the Eastern Union County Supplemental Food Program, 51 South Third St., Lewisburg, PA 17837, or to a charity of your choice.
